IPTV Only Works on One Device? That's the Connection Limit

Plays on your phone but the TV spins forever? One device "kicks off" another? Your app isn't broken โ€” you're hitting the account's simultaneous connection limit, and it's an easy thing to confirm.

What's actually happening

Every IPTV account has a "max connections" value โ€” the number of devices that can stream at the same time. Many are set to 1. When you're already watching on one device and start a second, the server has no free slot, so it refuses the new stream. The result looks like buffering, a black screen, or "can't connect" โ€” but nothing is actually wrong with the second device.

How to confirm and fix it

  1. Stop playback everywhere else โ€” close the app or stop the stream on other devices (don't just turn off the screen; some boxes keep streaming).
  2. Wait ~30 seconds for the server to release the slot.
  3. Try the device that was failing. If it now works, the connection limit was the cause.
  4. Want to watch on several devices at once? Ask your provider to raise "max connections" on your account.

Not sure it's the limit?

A quick diagnosis reads your account directly and shows how many connections are allowed and how many are currently in use โ€” so you know instantly whether you're maxed out or the problem is something else (expired account, blocked server, or codec).
